Really unusual this one, made by and labeled "Goldstrom Originals", who were based on Fifth Avenue in New York during the 1950's and were a similar manufacturer to Dorset Rex, whose bags this one resembles. No lucite bag is complete without a couple of these metal box bags and this is a great example. It has a hard body of gold vinyl inside a gold-tone metal frame, metal handle and clasp, a gleaming butterscotch bakelite lid and is fully lined in black satin, which like the rest of the bag is in mint condition. Really striking bag, would make a great party bag or a great addition to a vintage bag collection.
