This is a very cute Pavone Brooch of a red cat - French designer Marie-christine Pavone jewellery is highly collectable today. Designing whimsical animals from Galalith, whose name originates from Greek "Gala" (milk) and "Lithos" (stone), is one of the oldest forms of plastic, first discovered in 1897. Each piece is signed by Pavone and guaranteed original. Condition is excellent.
