This is a very striking 1930s/40s Art Deco bag. A black leather clutch bag with a back wristlet strap if prefered, a striking bow shaped black bakelite chunky clasp with chrome metal detail and frame. It also has a lovely decorative fixture attatching the strap to the bag which is silver/chrome coloured with an attractive check etched design in it. This gorgeous bag has an inner purse on a hinge so it is fixed inside, this also has a chrome frame/clasp and has two inner fabric compartments one black ,one off white.The leather is soft and supple and has some light wear hardly noticable and some to the edges but nothing unsightly. Condition is very good, with just one small nibble to one of the bakelite bows. This bag would be great for daytime and evening wear.
