What a great piece of furniture and something we've never come across before. This is a 1930's Art Deco bench. The pictures make it look a bit dinky in size so please check measurements below as it's quite a decent size piece. The main body is made of Mahogany with an ebonized plinth. As you can see it has a lift up seat which is lockable and generously sized storage within. There's a shelf either side, maybe for books or a telephone. We think this would be ideal for a hallway as a telephone table or alternatively maybe for a bedroom or landing area to stairs. Condition is excellent with little signs of age, we've had it French polished so it's in gleaming condition and ready to grace your home.
