This is a very glamourous 1930's Art Deco dressing table by the highly regarded H&L Epstein. The quality as always with Epstein pieces is superb as is the design. Maple veneered in a mid tone colouring contrasted by the Walnut based plinth makes this very distinctive. The shape of the dressing table proves to be such an appealing feature, and it's lined maple veneers which produce a beautiful pattern of grain. Catalin/ bakelite handles with a chrome disc back plates, all in tact and compliments beautifully. The large cloud shaped mirror has polished and bevelled edges and is in excellent condition. All drawers run very smoothly as when first made with generous storage space within making it very functional as well as looking stunning. I imagine this piece adorned with a couple of Art Deco lamps and Deco perfume bottles will lok breath taking and will give the full wow effect desired.
