Exceptional and very outstanding original 1930's Art Deco dining suite comprising of a large dining table, 6 chairs & matching sideboard. This suite really is "Drop Dead gorgeous!". The generous sized table will easily seat eight people and ten for those special occasions. Quarter veneer burr walnut top with straight grain walnut banding to the edge, makes this a true quality table. The table top is supported by two burr walnut quarter matching veneered pillars with darker walnut plinths. To accompany the table are six matching walnut French style high back chairs with leather insert seats. The chairs are a wonderful shape - with flame grain veneers to the back, with slight concave shape and stylish curvaceous legs. The matching sideboard is both functional as well as very stylish in it's design. Featuring three central drawers, top one fitted for cutlery and two cupboards with internal shelving. The sideboard has it's original catalin/bakelite handles in a typical Deco stepped design and original keys.The whole suite has the most glorious colouring and has been newly French polished by our on site restorers to a good mirror finish - all in all a very grand and desirable suite in excellent condition!
