An original and rare
modernist 1930's Art Deco marble and wood fireplace, believed
to have been purchased from Harrods in the 1930s. This would
look stunning in either a contemporary or a period setting and
provides a beautiful focal point for any room. The fireplace
is beautifully crafted using several different woods and impressive
marble panels which together add to the streamlined grandeur
of the piece. It has its original electric heater/air conditioning
unit. The fireplace has only small age related marks or wear,
hardly noticeable as a whole. These types of mantlepieces are
extremely hard to source and in such good condition. The whole
piece is incredibly heavy and takes two strong men to lift.
We strongly advised that the electrics are sorted/tested by
a qualified electrician, we are selling this as an ornamental
item and not working ( although it may well do, we haven`t tested
it).
