This is a fabulous lucite box weave bag. Made in the 1940's, this bag is ideal for modern day use, daytime or evening. The lucite lid deep toffee colour with a clear coloured lucite handle. The body of the bag is made from weaved copper tone strips. LUCITE was invented by DuPont in the USA in the 1930's as a hard wearing utility material but was the adopted by fashion designers to create these stylish enduring designs.
